About Us
Plant City is one of several statewide locations through the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Students can earn a bachelor’s degree from Plant City in several degree programs through the transfer admissions process.
Distance education is a flexible solution that allows students to further their education while maintaining other responsibilities, such as a full-time job or family. Students take course in person at the Plant City location one – two days a week along with courses online.
Would you like to take a few courses or earn a degree from the University of Florida but can't move to Gainesville? If so, the UF/IFAS CALS distance education center in Plant City can help! We are conveniently located between Tampa and Orlando and offer courses in three degree programs with a choice of five different specializations.
