Description
The kick off to the 33rd Annual Plant City MLK Festival features a book signing and conversation by Plant City Author James McDaniel. Mr. McDaniel is a Plant City native and provides a unique perspective in his autobiography "Living a Virtuous Life" on growing up in Plant City, pathways of education, military service, and careers with NASA and City of Plant City as the Director of Community Development. He will be autographing his book and answering questions on the experience of writing his autobiography. Limited books will be on hand so guests are encouraged to purchase online.
Mr. McDaniel was a familiar face in City Hall and is credited for laying the footprint for the City's revitalization efforts that began in the 1990s.
