Parade begins at 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Location
Parade begins downtown Plant City at the corner of Wheeler and MLK Blvd. The parade proceeds east on MLK Blvd ending at the Plant City Sadye Gibbs Martin Community Center. Viewing locations include Willaford Railroad Museum parking lot, Sam Cooper Lake, Bing House Museum (205 Allen Street), St. Luke Church parking lot, and Sadye Gibbs Martin Community Center.
Fees/Admission
The event is free to the public. Parade applications are still being accepted through January 9th, 2026. There is no registration. Download the application by visiting www.plantcitymlkfestival.com. You will be notified of approval by January 12th.

Description
Plant City Annual MLK Parade celebrates the past, present and future while recognizing the American Dream can be achieved by all who purse it. The parade consists of eight marching bands, floats, elected officials and local businesses and featuring our state recognized corvette stroll by the Tampa Bay Corvette Posse with 54 vehicles. There is no registration fee to participate in the parade. Applications are accepted through January 9th due to the large number of marching bands enrolled.
