The Empty Bowls Project, born from a teacher's passion for using art to create positive change, has evolved into a global symbol of hunger awareness. Our event follows this project’s tradition, with the collaborative efforts of local students, artists, and organizations, we aim to remind everyone of the daily struggle against hunger by crafting handcrafted clay bowls, filling an empty bowl with a range of freshly cooked home-made soups, and auctioning unique locally made ceramic bowls. All proceeds benefit the United Food Bank and Services.
